The Friends of the Bergen County Zoo is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is dedicated to providing financial support to the Bergen County Zoological Park.
Zoo admission is FREE
Since a large number of our animals are housed inside during the winter months for their well-being and can’t be seen by guests, zoo admission is free. Please feel free to visit the Zoo and the Education Building and enjoy those animals that are still on view to the public. Admission will resume April 6th, 2026.
TRAIN & CAROUSEL
The train and carousel will reopen on March 30th, 2026, weather permitting.

Tickets are $3.00 per person, per ride.

The Gift Shop is located at the very beginning of the zoo gates.
The Gift Shop is expected to be open 7 days a week from April - October.
It may open during nice days throughout the off-season, weather permitting!

Due to the climate of the winter months, the Bergen County Zoo is discounted
