EARLY CHILDHOOD PROGRAMS
ZOO BABIES AND ZOO KIDS​
These are hour long classes where children and their caretaker get to explore the world of animals through crafts, stories, animal meet-and-greets, and zoo tours!
​
Each week offers a new topic, and you may sign up for as many topics as you like.
All classes include age-appropriate activities and a zoo tour.​
Ticket price is for 1 child and 1 adult. Children MUST be accompanied by an adult chaperone.​​
ZOO BABIES
Ages 18 months - 3 years old
Tuesdays or Thursdays at 10:30am

Amphibians
What makes a frog a frog? Learn about our amphibious friends from egg to adult!

January 20th / January 22nd
Rodents
Who loves cheese! Join us as we learn all about our long-toothed rodent friends.

January 27th / January 29th
Predators
Some predators are big, and some are small! Learn why animals like spiders, wolves, and mountain lions are not always as scary as fairy tales say.​
ZOO KIDS
Ages 4 years old - 6 years old

Beautiful Bugs
All living things depend on bugs! Come meet some beautiful bugs and learn what makes these animals so unique and important.

January 21st
Animal Defenses
Learn how different animals protect themselves from danger.
​
January 28th
Animal Diets
Discover what different animals eat and what we feed our animals here at the zoo!
Ticket price is for 1 child and 1 adult.
Children MUST be accompanied by an adult chaperone.

Tickets are eligible for refund up to 2 weeks prior to the event.
If a refund is requested after that point, it will only be issued if your spot can be filled by another attendee.
