Zoo Boo is the spookiest fundraiser to go to for your Halloween adventures and memories!
Tickets must be purchased in advance online and sell out VERY quickly!

ZOO AND TRAIN TICKETS ARE ONLINE ONLY.
Carousel tickets are sold in person during the event.
EVERYONE 2 and up need a ticket. Children under 2 do not need a ticket.

There are three tickets involved with Zoo Boo:
1. The Zoo Admission ticket is for the decorated zoo with trick-or-treat stations and shows. Sold on Eventbrite.

2. The Train Ticket is only for the train ride and is separate from the Zoo Admission ticket. Sold on Eventbrite.
The night train is haunted and has scary scenes with actors. (recommended for older children and brave adults).
The day train is friendly with Halloween themed scenes.
3. The Carousel Ticket is only for the carousel and is separate from the Zoo Admission ticket. The carousel is family friendly. Sold in person during the event only.

​ Zoo Admission tickets are organized by hourly time slot.
The train/ carousel do not have hourly time slots.
Zoo Admission time slots are for your arrival time.​
MEMBERS:
Tickets are live on your CommunityPass account from September 3rd - September 28th.
​After that, tickets are only sold regular price on Eventbrite.
​
Members will receive physical tickets in the mail and will need to present them at the gate.​
​
General Members (Individual, Dual, & Family) can purchase one ticket per person.
Sustaining Members can purchase an additional 4 tickets.
Contributing Members can purchase an additional 8 tickets.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is the recommended age for Zoo Boo?
Zoo Boo is family friendly and for all ages! We encourage all guests to dress up for the event.
Our Spooky Night Time train has scare elements, including scare actors (recommended for older children and brave adults).
Our Friendly Day Time train will have no scary elements.
Please note that only children will receive trick-or-treat bags.

Can I buy tickets at the door?
Zoo and Train Tickets must be purchased in advance and will NOT be sold day-of at the front gate.
Carousel tickets are available for purchase at the front gate during the event.

I bought a ticket for a different time slot but want to come later/earlier in the day. Can I switch my ticket?
Please email friends@friendsofbergencountyzoo.org to inquire about transferring ticket slots. Please note that tickets can only be transferred within the first 24 hours of purchase.

Do I need to be a member to purchase Zoo Boo tickets?
We highly encourage our patrons to join our membership program to take advantage of all the great perks of being a member! While you do not need to be a member, members are given pre-sale, discounted tickets.

When do general ticket sales begin?
Non-members will have access to tickets through Eventbrite starting Wednesday, October 1st at 9:00 am.​
Are there any restrictions on costumes?
Full face costume masks and weapons are not allowed within the zoo.

Do you offer refunds?
We do not offer refunds for any Zoo Boo, Zoo Boo Train, or Zoo Boo Carousel tickets.

Will the animals be out during Zoo Boo?
Our animals may have access to their enclosures during the event, but may opt to stay inside of their indoor holdings.
What if the event is postponed or cancelled?
